    Hello!
    Nice blog!
What is Morocco like? I would absolutely love to go there someday, it seems beautiful and has a very rich culture. I also want to go there because it is Francophone, and I love French!

    Dear Benbrahim,

I have found out your educational blog a very practical one, and adding an interesting component for teaching/learning English – poetry.

Congratulations for your nice poems fraught with rich content and varied vocabulary to be explored in English classes.

I am a recently retired EFL teacher, secondary level, who has been learning about your country and culture from Moroccan friends of mine.

    Cheers,
    Maria

The dictionary

Many English Language learners admit that the dictionary helped them learn  most important part of their lexis and vocabulary.

So as to make the best use of a dictionary, you need to

  1. Use a  good dictionary
  2. Use the dictionary when you really need it (because it is  often possible  to get the general meaning of a text even if we don’t know all the words in it !)
  3. Know how to use the dictionary effectively.

Learning new vocabulary

It is very useful to know and use a rich vocabulary to express your ideas precisely and well. Also it is very important to learn words in associations and relationships in order to remember them better.

techniques and ways may help you better learn the English lexis. You can brainstorm or semantic map around a word or a concept….

Useful words and expressions about media and entertainment

Some people call it spare time, others prefer free time while others use leisure time to refer to the time they have no work or study activity.

Whatever word is used, they relatively express the same thing. The following page will certainly help you to recycle and learn the lexis related to this Unit(3)
